Mark Brewer boasts 27 years of expertise across London’s diverse financial landscape, from high-profile hedge funds to asset management and equity brokerages.
Specialising in merger and statistical arbitrage, Mark leverages data-driven strategies to navigate complex financial markets and seize opportunities from market volatility.
In 2015, he founded Alpha One Strategies Limited to provide innovative solutions for traders, challenging traditional finance norms while emphasising professionalism and compliance with Financial Conduct Authority registration achieved in 2016.
Gerald Gray
Team Captain
Gerald has 20 years of experience on the sell and buyside and has been involved in the alpha capture space since 2005.
With extensive knowledge of the asset managers using the alpha capture signal and a strong track record as an idea generator and a manager of teams of contributors, he joined AOS in Spring 2023 and is the team captain across all alpha capture platforms upon which we participate, driving our commitment to excellence in generating and utilising alpha signals.
Steve Burke
Compliance
Steve joined AOS as Compliance and MLRO officer in Spring 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the agricultural commodities and financial futures sectors. Steve has served as Chairman of the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), Potato Futures Management Committee and contributing as a member of the LIFFE Grain Management Committee.
In 2005, Steve founded his own company, where he currently held multiple roles including Executive Director, Compliance Oversight Officer, and Money Laundering Reporting Officer
As a member of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) Agricultural Futures Steering Committee, he actively contributes to shaping the future of agricultural futures trading.
